Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining toolroom equipment & measuring tools. CNC experience is required; candidate must provide your own tools.

Duties:

– Use precision measuring instruments to inspect tooling
– Operate electrical discharge machining (EDM) equipment
– Work with CNC machines to produce tooling components
– Operate milling machines to fabricate parts
– Use hand tools to assemble and finish tooling
– Perform mathematical calculations for tool and die specifications

Requirements:

– High School Diploma along with 2yrs experience in tool and die making -OR- 2yr Associates degree in Machine Tool Technology with on the job training available.
– Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments
– Familiarity with electrical discharge machining (EDM)
– Ability to operate CNC machines for tool production
– Skilled in fabricating parts using milling machines
– Competent in using hand tools for assembly and finishing tasks
– Strong mathematical skills for calculating specifications
– Experience with Cimatron software is a plus but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 – $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
