About the Role:

As a Maintenance II, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and facilities. You will play a crucial role in minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity by conducting regular inspections, troubleshooting issues, and performing necessary repairs. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will be essential in identifying potential problems and implementing preventive maintenance measures. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and coordinating with other departments to ensure efficient operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment and facilities.
  • Proficiency in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track and manage maintenance activities.
  • Strong knowledge of boiler systems, including troubleshooting and repair.
  • Experience in TIG welding and the ability to perform welding repairs as needed.
  • Solid understanding of electrical systems and the ability to diagnose and fix electrical issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine inspections of manufacturing equipment and facilities to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance tasks, such as lubricating machinery, replacing worn parts, and calibrating equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and inventory of spare parts.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as production and engineering, to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure smooth operations.

Skills:

In this role, your skills in CMMS systems, boiler systems, TIG welding, and electricity will be put to use on a daily basis. You will utilize your expertise in CMMS systems to track and manage maintenance activities, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks. Your knowledge of boiler systems will be essential in troubleshooting and repairing any issues that may arise. Additionally, your TIG welding skills will be utilized for performing welding repairs as needed. Finally, your understanding of electrical systems will enable you to diagnose and fix electrical issues, ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing equipment and facilities.
