Who is Potter Jane?

The Job:

Beyond the day-to-day responsibilities listed below, we are looking for someone to join our warehouse team and impact quality through inventory management. This role will give you the unique opportunity to contribute to and learn about every aspect of whiskey maturation. You will report directly to the Warehouse Manager and perform all key responsibilities that will ensure success across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

· Support the Warehouse Manager by overseeing and leading the team to perform daily job requirements in a safe and productive manner

· Perform various distillery tasks such as gauging, proofing and cutting cistern tanks to desired proof and filling new barrels

· Place and clock barrels in ricks and move within the warehouse with various equipment and by hand

· Perform minor coopering of barrels and warehouse inspections as needed

· Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure all barrels and shipments meet our quality standards

· Extract samples from barrels when requested to support quality control

· Maintain accurate records of barrel inventory by completing daily audit sheets in compliance with TTB

· Follow all safety and environmental requirements to ensure safety is the priority

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· Distillery warehouse experience required

· CDL and/or forklift certification preferred

· Proficient computer skills with experience utilizing electronic mail software, time accounting software, project management software, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PLC applications

· Employee must be able to handle and move barrels up to 500 pounds
