Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deli Manager to oversee our deli operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food safety and kitchen management, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the Deli Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring food quality, and leading a team of staff members in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily deli operations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and regulations.
• Manage food preparation processes to maintain high-quality standards in all menu items.
• Train, supervise, and mentor deli staff to enhance their skills and performance.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
• Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
• Implement effective kitchen management practices to optimize workflow and efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments to promote special events or new menu items.
• Monitor staff performance and conduct regular evaluations to foster professional growth.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a deli management role or similar position within the food service industry.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Experience in casual dining or hotel environments is a plus.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with staff and customers.
• A passion for food preparation and culinary excellence is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 – $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
