Who is Potter Jane?

The Job:

Beyond the day-to-day responsibilities listed below, we are looking for someone driven to impact product quality by ensuring equipment reliability. You will report directly to the Engineering and Maintenance Manager and perform all key responsibilities that will ensure success across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

· Maintain, repair, and focus on safety and reliability of facilities equipment such as plant air, boiler systems, chilled water systems, electrical systems and distillery process systems such as conveying systems, pumps, motors, valves, positioners, etc.

· Maintaining and repairing electrical systems and electrical troubleshooting.

· Assist in installation of new equipment.

· Conduct machine safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.

· Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement preventive maintenance programs of all mechanical, electrical and instrumentation equipment.

· Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment logs.

· Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

· A minimum of 2 years factory maintenance experience and an associate’s degree in industrial maintenance or related skilled trade is preferred.

· Solid working knowledge of electrical systems, safe electrical work practices and electrical troubleshooting.

· Distillery maintenance experience is preferred, but not required.

· Proficient computer skills with experience utilizing electronic mail software, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

· Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

· Able to work at heights and in confined spaces with proper PPE.

· Experience PLCs and controls a plus.

· Experience with instrumentation a plus.

· Experience with facilities equipment such as boilers, chillers and water systems a plus.
