Fertilizer Applicator

Clements Ag Supply is looking for a Fertilizer Applicator.

Summary

Prepare and spread fertilizer for customers. Perform daily and routine general maintenance on machinery to ensure proper working condition. Applicators will work with managers and customers to ensure that fertilizer is applied correctly. Applicators will assist with general warehouse duties as well as seed cleaning and packaging.

Responsibilities

• Operate a spreader truck or John Deere High clearance applicator to apply fertilizer on customer fields
• Use GPS and Agriculture related technology
• Maintain communication with coworkers
• Assist with general warehouse work
• Ability to work independently and follow procedure
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Assist with seed cleaning and seed packaging

Experience

• Experience operating a fertilizer or ag chemical applicator required
• Performing general mechanical maintenance
• Class A or B truck operations
• Welding and Mechanical skills are a plus
• Mathematical Skills are required.

Required

• Must have a valid Class A CDL
• Must have reliable transportation
• Experience operating fertilizer of ag chemical application equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 80 per week

Experience:

• Agriculturcal equipment operation: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:
